Not only are Silver Ameraucanas visually striking, but they are also incredibly friendly and personable. When free-range, they are the first to fly over the fence to greet me, and I can even have them fly up onto my arms. Their social nature shines through; as soon as I step into their pen, several are at my feet, eagerly waiting to be held.
In 2022, I introduced a Blue Silver project bird from Rachel at the Original Gypsy Hen into the flock. PLEASE NOTE: I have three Blue Silvers in the Silver Ameraucana pen, so there is a chance you may hatch a beautiful Blue Silver project color as well.
