Personality PLUS with this breed. Cream Legbars are chatty, active, very curious and remarkable foragers. They can be super friendly when handled early and often. They love to investigate their surroundings and are the first to meet me at the gate.
They are great layers of large sky blue eggs and lots of them!
They are auto-sexing, a genetic trait that enables chicks to be gendered just by looking at the different feather patterns, making them perfect for the small scale backyard breeder. Male chicks will have a pale dot on the head and will have little to no eye streaks and the female chicks will have a dark brown to black stripe that starts on top of the head and extends down the length of the body. You can also see the tiny little crest developing on the top of the head of the day old chicks.

Wonderful customer service from Shannon! Beautiful hatching eggs, packaging carefully and arrived with no cracks or breaks. I hatched 11 out of 18 eggs, which is awesome for shipped hatching eggs. I will definitely buy again and highly recommend freshly picked chicks to anyone looking to expand or start their own flock.
