Does your bird carry the blue eggshell gene (O)?
This test identifies whether your chicken carries one or two copies of the O (oocyan) gene, responsible for blue eggshells. Knowing your birdâs genetic status helps you plan breeding projects, especially for Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, and Ameraucana-based crosses.

- Rubber Bands
- Blood Clotting Powder
- PCR Tubes 0.2ml NOT mandatory, but my preferred way to collect blood

Blue egg gene testing was so easy! I dropped my samples in the mail and had easy to understand results the day after my samples were delivered. Now I know exactly who stays in my breeding program without waiting for their babies to grow out. I see more genetic testing in my future!
