Our DNA Gender Test uses a simple blood sample to accurately determine whether your chick is male or female — long before physical traits appear. Perfect for breeders managing breeding pens, or anyone who wants to plan their flock with precision.
We can determine the gender of your birds through DNA testing for the following species:
- Chicken
- Duck
- Goose
- Turkey
- Quail
- Emu
- Guinea Fowl
- Pea Fowl
- Swan
- Pigeon

- ONE sample needed even if you order both Gender and Blue gene test done, just be sure to mark that on the sample collection card
- My recommended testing supplies but not mandatory.
- Alcohol Wipes
- Nail Clippers
- Rubber Bands
- Blood Clotting Powder
- PCR Tubes 0.2ml NOT mandatory, but my preferred way to collect blood

How it works:
Collect one small drop of blood from a clipped toenail, place it on the sample card or PCR tube, let it dry, and mail it in. You’ll receive your results by email once testing is complete. Testing will be complete between 24-72 hours of receiving the samples

I recently bought the whos your daddy dozen. The eggs arrived and I have never saw eggs packaged as well as these were packed. Now 21 days later we have a 100% hatch rate, We have already sent in our DNA to the Montel Williams show aka (Freshly picked chicks lab) to see if we can now figure out who the daddy really is.
I really like the formatting in which the sheets for putting the blood samples on is laid out. It's professional and organized. Taking samples was explained well in her video. I appreciate Shannon's communication and letting you know when she receives samples and the results. She processes quickly and let you know the results in a timely manner.
Overall, I would highly recommend using her services!
