The Marsbar hybrid Olive egger is a unique First generation hybrid resulting from a Black Copper Marans rooster crossed with Cream Legbar hens. The chicks will have fun tuffs and feathered legs. The hens are known for their beautiful colored Olive eggs and high egg production. One fascinating feature of this cross is the ability to distinguish male and female chicks at hatch. Female chicks will have a solid black appearance, while male chicks will have a distinctive dot on their head.

The females of this cross mature into sleek black birds with hints of copper in their hackles and charming modest crests. These beautiful chickens lay pretty olive eggs thanks to the cross of a dark brown egg layer and a blue egg layer. 

The cockerels of this cross are distinguished by their barred plumage, with some displaying hints of copper in their hackles. These birds grow to be a good size and are ideal for safeguarding a backyard flock.
