Silver Sagers
Our Silver Sagers are one of our beautiful signature crosses here at Freshly Picked Chicks, created by crossing our Silver Welsummers with Silver Ameraucanas.
The result is a gorgeous silver-based Olive Egger that combines beautiful, unique plumage with an equally beautiful egg basket.
Silver Sagers are bred to lay shades of sage and olive green, with many eggs showing the lovely speckling brought in through our Silver Welsummer lines. Egg color can vary from soft, muted sage greens to deeper olive tones, making every layer a little bit of a surprise.
If you love silver birds, earthy green eggs, and lots of speckles, the Silver Sager is a beautiful addition to the flock.
