Let customers speak for us
from 51 reviewsOut of 2 dozen Who’s your daddy hatching eggs I had 24 healthy baby chicks hatch. I’m very pleased and excited to order more eggs soon! Thank you Shannon!
Eggs always arrive in great condition. She has the best packing of shipping eggs I’ve ever seen and would gladly pay her prices any day to receive such well loved eggs. I have high hatch rates from the dozens I’ve bought and have some gorgeous layers from FPC.
I purchase two dozen WHO’s Your Daddy hatching eggs. Not only were the eggs exceptionally beautiful
But I also had an amazing hatch rate with 24 baby chicks hatch! Wow! Thank you Shannon!
My Husband ordered these eggs for me for Christmas. But he accidentally was having them shipped in February.. I explained this to the Breader & she fixed it.. had my eggs in 2! Days! Eggs came perfectly in the box VERY WELL PACKAGED.. So Grateful.🎄Thankyou🫶
Shipping was fast and eggs was all packed great communication was great and when I candled the eggs they where all fertile I will buy from them again ❤️
Where can I start. Shannon has been nothing short of amazing, SHE has answered countless questions. Changed my order many times. My first order came via FedEx and I feel that is the best way to ship hatching eggs. She has made my experience as a new chicken breeder to be very smooth. Shannon has help educate me the best she can with all areas of becoming a chicken mom. Thank you Shannon. ❤️ I will be returning over and over. I can't say enough good things about working with you.
Hands down one of my favorite people to get chicks, pullets and hatching eggs from. Not only is she sweet and kind, but extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer all you new chicken mom questions.
Eggs arrived in perfect shape. We had to travel with them so there was a little delay in getting them into the incubator. They have been in 9 days now, and we are anxiously waiting to see how many made it. Update to follow. Thank you Shannon for all your help and advice.
I ordered a half dozen different and received them in excellent condition in the mail. The price for such beautiful eggs were reasonable and Shannon has been great to deal with and is walking me step by step through the hatching process. I will buy from her again.
I’ve previously purchased both eggs and chicks. The eggs came fast & perfectly packaged in the most adorable packaging & not one damaged egg. When I ordered my (25) healthy, happy, gorgeous chicks not only did I get the best variety of what I was asking for she took the time on quite a few different occasions to answer all of my newbie questions through PM, texts and even a couple phone calls. I greatly appreciate Shannon and will be ordering more in the spring!
I had been seeing Freshly Picked Chicks on social media for the last few months. I finally decided to give their eggs a try. Holy smokes, I’ve never had eggs packaged so nicely. The air sacs were all intact and the eggs got here in only 3 days. The decision to ship via FedEx seems to be a good one! I’ll try to update (if I can) when I can verify how well they develop, but I have a lot of confidence due to the manner in which they were shipped.
Best experience I have had with hatching eggs thus far!! Very well packaged, no breaks, great communication regarding the WHOLE process!! So far it looks like all my 2 dozen eggs are fertile and developing!! 😁 Will buy more in the future!
I ordered Whiting True Blues from the Todays Extra section. Back in June of 2024, (sorry forgot to do a review until now). They arrived so beautifully packaged, none were broken and I had a very successful hatch rate in my Maticoopx incubator! Loved my results so much I just ordered again, this time a dozen rainbow!

Unboxing my hatching eggs was like Christmas morning! The eggs were packed so well and there were personal touches and little surprises at every layer.
I ordered a dozen Wheaten Ameraucana and while we were chatting to organize shipping I asked if I could add a Rainbow Dozen. Shannon was so sweet to let me pick breeds from the extras she had. She sent 2 extra with each dozen, so 28 eggs total. Every single one was free of any cracks or damage. There were quite a few detached air cells but that’s the nature of the game with shipped eggs, certainly not Shannon’s fault.
I left them sit pointy side down for 24 hours before putting them in the incubator. I have a Brinsea so they’ve been incubating vertically, too. I did gently and quickly candle, holding them pointy side down, and I had 1 egg with no development, 1 completely scrambled, and 2 blood lines. The other 24 appear to be developing beautifully and air cells appear to have reattached. There are a couple saddled so I’ll prop those up to hatch vertically as well. They go into lock down in 2 more days and I’m optimistic for a great hatch!
